Ethical Printing
September 25 2007
It was great for me to find a printing company that is also ethical, and SUSU Organic is hoping to form an ethical trade group to let you know who is trying to be green! Juicy Print are based in Manchester, and use 100% vegetable based inks and minimise the chemicals in their waterless printing process.
The paper that they use comes from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified softwood forests (who make sure that seven trees are planted for each one that is felled). Juicy also have a wide range of high quality recycled papers.
Their print plant has had an environmental audit and has been awarded the coveted ISO14001 accreditation, and to add to their green credentials, Juicy are also putting solar panels on the roof of their factory!
