This fantastic bin is called the binvention. It is made from recycled aluminium in several colours and each one is numbered. What is more, if you tire of it we will send it back to the manufacturer for recycling!

Most of the products are designed in the UK, and we request information on the materials used in the making of the products, for their sustainable credentials, such as FSC timber, recycled, reclaimed, reused, recyclable and so on.

I bought one of these at the Grand Designs Exhibition at the Exon Centre London. I am using degradeable plastic bags on the unit and find it an absolute must for sorting my recyclables out in the kitchen
