New College Nottingham (ncn)  (Silver Member)

One of the largest, most successful and comprehensive construction training facilities in the UK is based at New College Nottingham's (ncn) Basford Hall campus. ncn aspires to become a world class college and has plans for a significant redevelopment of its Basford Hall site.

The School of Construction is meeting both government and industry aspirations by training over 400 construction trade apprentices annually – together with some 600 engaged in vocational training, 2000 part-time learners and a further 200 on higher level courses.

Kevin Gowdy, Director of Construction, intends to continue to facilitate improvements and sustainability in the construction industry. Also, the College promotes SUSU Organic as a champion of local business, driving social and environmental issues to the fore.
