Essential Care make a range of organic skin care and shampoo, and our products are certified as organic by the Soil Association wherever possible, to give you a guarantee of authenticity. (Some of our products cannot be certified, simply because the ingredients are not available in an organic form and so cannot comply with Soil Association standards).

Essential care do not use any harsh preservatives. Many do not have any preservatives at all, and some have alcohol or herbs and antioxidants.

Gentle Herb Shampoo, (our best selling!), was the first shampoo to be cerified as organic by the Soil Association standards. It does not contain any sulphate detergents or artificial preservatives, and balances and conditions hair of all types, leaving it in amazing condition - some stop needing to use a conditioner altogether!
